Disappointment
Matthew did NOT take his shirt off in Ghost of Girlfriends Past. I thought it was part of his movie contracts. Damn shame. The movie was cute and I had a good time with Best Guy Friend, but really it can wait for video if you don’t HAVE to see it in the theater.
Little boys and the games they playThe Ex called on Friday. I hadn’t heard from him since the breakup day a little over a month ago. Instead of looking at the phone like it was on fire with the devil and then promptly flinging it out the window (suggested reaction of my girlfriends) my little fingers were drawn to that sucker like a magnet and I answered. It was about 3:30 and I was at work. Here it goes.
Me: Hello
He: Hey S (using my last name)
Me: Hi
He: What are you doing?
Me: I’m at work
He : Oh I’m sorry, that’s right it’s only 6:30 here isn’t it. Do you want me to call back later?
Me: Yeah
He: OK bye
Anyone want to look into the crystal ball and take a stab at this one? *bingo* He didn’t call again. Not sure what the point of that little exercise was. Jackass.
One other comment… the use of my last name use to be endearing, now it makes me angry.

Oh man! Boys can be so predictable. I'm sorry that he called. What a jerk! When are boys going to grow up into men and quit with the games!!??!!
As for the interest in the BGF while drinking...maybe that's a natural reaction because you already have an emotional connection with him since he's such a good friend.
Oh girl... I would be drawn to the phone too.
Sorry he didn't call back. Even when you expect it, it still hurts like a mothereffer.
I had a tough time today hearing about the murder/suicide at my ex-bf's post in Iraq. I did send him an email to let him know I was thinking about him. Of course, there was no reply.
Whatever. I care. Its what I do.
And ditto on the last name thing.
Men! And the stupid games they play! I've done the whole I don't want to answer the phone, but I do anyway thing. It sucks, so I feel your pain!
