You know, there's nothing like a really good dude friend to help get a perspective on things after a break up. Well, that, and it's good to hear some positive feel good stuff from a guy you trust won't break your heart. Disclaimer: This sure does not overshadow or take the place of the girlfriends, it's just a different perspective that adds to the healing power of friendship.
Best guy friend: I've really been thinking about this, a lot. Trying to figure out why a guy would end things like that or why this happened at all. You know S, he just wasn't ready for his blessings.
Wow. I'm holding on to that one sentence for dear life right now!
It gets better, to sweeten the feel good pot, he's taking me to see eye candy tonight. Matthew McConaughey - Ghosts of Girlfriends Past.
TGIF and amen for a good dose of positive feelings and some easy on the eyes movie watching to look forward to.
Not that you don't already know, but I'm preparing myself for the evening so thought I'd share. *swoon*

Exactly! I always try to get a dudes perspective on all guy issues and problems!
I think I'm gonna have to stop watching Grey's Anatomy. Dr. Hunt and Christina and his PTSD and wanting to be with her but pushing her away and then being all hot and cold and shit.... its really upsetting me. It hits too close to home and when I'm feeling ok, then I watch that show and I'm sad again.
Yes, I realize I'm ranting. I just can't believe that a man would just walk away... I think it'd be easier to think that he was just playing me all along and walked away, ya know? But knowing that he loved me like he did and he freakin' walked away from THAT?!?! That just pisses me off.
And I knew you'd get it. This blog post tells me so.
Thank you. And Mr. Matthew is sizzlin'!
